- 12 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup cooked crab meat
- 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1 cup queso cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, shrimp, queso cheese, cream cheese, green onions, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Heat the tortillas in a skillet until soft.
- Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the filling onto each tortilla and roll them up tightly.
- In a pan, heat oil over medium heat.
- Fry the taquitos until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm with salsa or guacamole.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add jalapeños to the filling.
- These taquitos can be baked instead of fried for a healthier option.
