A delicious and easy to make cheesy sausage pizza roll.

- 1 package pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup pizza or marinara sauce (for dipping)
- Olive oil or melted butter for brushing
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface. - Add Fillings:
Evenly spread the mozzarella cheese over the pizza dough, leaving about an inch border.
Lay the sausage and pepperoni slices evenly on top of the cheese. - Season and Roll:
Sprinkle Italian seasoning and garlic powder over the toppings.
Carefully roll the dough from one long edge to the other, creating a log shape. - Prepare for Baking:
Place the roll seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the roll with olive oil or melted butter.
Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. - Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. - Serve:
Slice into 1-inch pieces.
Serve warm with marinara or pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add sautéed onions and bell peppers.
- Ensure the sausage is fully cooked before adding it to the roll.
- To enhance the crust’s flavor, sprinkle a little coarse sea salt on top before baking.
