- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 pound beef steak, cut into cubes (sirloin or ribeye)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup bell peppers (optional), sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone
- 9 ounces cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
- Chopped parsley for garnish
- Extra cheese for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak cubes with salt, pepper, and paprika, then sear until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sautée onion and garlic until soft and fragrant. Add bell peppers if using.
- Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in cream cheese and heavy cream until smooth. Add shredded cheese and stir until melted.
- Add tortellini to the skillet, cover, and cook for 4-5 minutes until tender.
- Return steak to the pan and stir everything together. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley and additional cheese. Serve warm.
