Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt 2 tablespoons of butter, allowing it to bubble gently.
  2. Add 1 diced onion, 1 green bell pepper, 1 red bell pepper, and 1 diced jalapeño. Cook for about 5 minutes, until the veggies are soft and fragrant.
  3. Incorporate 1 pound of ground beef into the pan. Cook, breaking it apart, until fully browned and cooked through, with no pink remaining.
  4. Carefully drain any excess grease from the skillet. Return the beef and vegetable mixture to the pan, ensuring it’s ready for seasoning.
