Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt 2 tablespoons of butter, allowing it to bubble gently.
- Add 1 diced onion, 1 green bell pepper, 1 red bell pepper, and 1 diced jalapeño. Cook for about 5 minutes, until the veggies are soft and fragrant.
- Incorporate 1 pound of ground beef into the pan. Cook, breaking it apart, until fully browned and cooked through, with no pink remaining.
- Carefully drain any excess grease from the skillet. Return the beef and vegetable mixture to the pan, ensuring it’s ready for seasoning.
- Stir in ½ cup soy sauce, 1 tablespoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon salt, and 2 teaspoons black pepper. Mix thoroughly until everything is well combined and heated through.
