A delicious and refreshing Grilled Tomato and Burrata Toast recipe that’s perfect for any meal.
Ingredients

- 3 medium heirloom tomatoes (thinly sliced)
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- Kosher salt (as needed)
- Freshly ground black pepper (as needed)
- 4 slices sourdough bread (cut ½” thick)
- 4 ounces burrata
- 1 medium Haas avocado (peeled, pitted and sliced)
- Handful watercress leaves
Instructions
- Drizzle the tomato slices with olive oil then season with salt and pepper. Let sit for about 10 minutes.
- Heat a large griddle or grill over medium-high heat. Add the slices of bread and cook until grill marks appear, about 1 minute. Flip and cook for an additional minute.
- Top each slice with burrata followed by tomato slices, avocado, and watercress. Slice each toast in half.
Notes
- For best flavor, use ripe heirloom tomatoes.
- You can substitute burrata with fresh mozzarella if desired.
