Description

This baked banana recipe is a simple and delicious dessert, perfect for a sweet treat!


Ingredients

  • 3 bananas
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Melt the butter in a small dish, then whisk in the maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla and salt.
  3. Slice the bananas in half lengthwise and place on an oven safe baking dish or in a cast iron pan.
  4. Drizzle the maple butter mixture on top and spread it evenly over the bananas.
  5. Bake for about 15 minutes or until the bananas are soft and the glaze is a little bubbly.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes, then serve with vanilla ice cream, crushed walnuts, chocolate chips, etc.!
