Description

A delicious and creamy strawberry ice cream made with fresh strawberries, Greek yogurt, and pure maple syrup.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Clean, dry and chop the strawberries.
  2. Add the chopped strawberries to a high speed blender and blend on high until they form a smooth strawberry puree.
  3. Combine the yogurt, strawberry puree and maple syrup in a medium mixing bowl.
  4. Transfer the strawberry ice cream yogurt mixture to your Ninja Creami pint container and place the lid on tightly.
  5. Place the mixture into the freezer on a flat surface and allow it to freeze for at least 24 hours, freezing it for no more than 48 hours.
  6. When ready, remove the container from the freezer, secure it in your Ninja Creami machine, select your desired cycle (soft serve), hit “spin” and it will likely spin loudly for 4-5 minutes.
  7. Once it is done, check it and respin if needed. It should be a creamy, thick consistency.
  8. If the ice cream appears icy, add a splash of milk and re-spin until it is creamy.
  9. At this point you could also add mix-in’s if you like and select the “mix-in’s” cycle, which usually runs 1-2 minutes.
  10. Then serve right away and enjoy!
