A delicious cranberry sauce with pineapple, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 12 oz fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned, drained)
- ¾ cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- ½ cup pineapple juice or water
- 1 teaspoon orange zest (optional, but recommended)
- 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice or lemon juice
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Add cranberries, pineapple chunks, sugar, pineapple juice (or water), orange zest, citrus juice, cinnamon, and salt to a medium saucepan.
- Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes, until cranberries burst and the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and let cool — the sauce will thicken more as it cools.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed. Serve warm or chilled.
Notes
- This sauce can be made ahead of time and served chilled or warmed up.
- Adjust sugar to taste depending on the tartness of the cranberries.
