Description

This Honey Garlic Chicken is a quick and easy recipe that combines tender chicken thighs or breasts with a sweet and savory marinade.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Add chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade (discard marinade) and season with salt and pepper. Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
  3. In a small saucepan, combine any remaining marinade with cornstarch mixed with water. Bring to a simmer until thickened (2-3 minutes). Pour over chicken in the skillet and toss gently to coat.
  4. Serve garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
