- 1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed
- 1 cup shredded cheese (Cheddar, Mozzarella, or a combination)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash the asparagus under cold water and trim off the tough ends.
- On a baking sheet, lay out the asparagus in a single layer, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss gently to coat.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese generously over the coated asparagus. Optionally, add a dusting of grated Parmesan on top.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute. Serve warm and enjoy!
