This creamy chicken alfredo lasagna is a hearty and delicious dish, perfect for gatherings and family dinners.

- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook Lasagna Noodles: Boil the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare Alfredo Sauce: In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring occasionally. Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly. Mix in 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Assemble Lasagna: Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Place three lasagna noodles over the sauce. Spread half of the ricotta cheese over the noodles. Add half of the shredded chicken and top with more Alfredo sauce. Sprinkle with 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers once more. Top with remaining lasagna noodles, sauce, and cheeses.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Garnish: Allow to cool for a few minutes, then sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use freshly shredded cheese for the best melt and flavor.
- If you like a bit of heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the Alfredo sauce.
- Make sure to let the lasagna sit for a few minutes before cutting to allow it to set.
