Delicious and easy no-bake chocolate oat bars made with simple ingredients.

- 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup almond butter (or peanut butter)
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
- In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats, cocoa powder, and salt.
- In a separate microwave-safe bowl, combine almond butter, maple syrup, and coconut oil. Microwave in 20-second intervals until melted and smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well until fully combined. Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
- Transfer mixture to the prepared pan. Press firmly and evenly into the pan with a spatula or your hands.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until the bars are set. Lift from the pan and cut into 12 bars. Serve chilled.
Notes
- Best stored in the refrigerator for freshness.
- Use parchment paper for easy removal from the pan.
