- 4 cups whole milk

- 1 cinnamon stick

Instructions
- Rinse Arborio rice under cold water until clear to remove excess starch.
- In a large saucepan, combine rinsed rice, whole milk, sugar, and salt. Add the cinnamon stick.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until it reaches a gentle simmer.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 25-30 minutes, stirring constantly until creamy.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract; discard the cinnamon stick.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm or chilled. Top with additional cinnamon or fresh fruit if desired.
