Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cheddar cheese sauce
- 6 large flour tortillas
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet taco seasoning

- for garnish fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions
- Prepare the Filling:
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
- Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Stir in taco seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Mix in the cheese sauce until well combined and heated through.
- Assemble the Burritos:
- Lay a tortilla flat and place a portion of the beef mixture in the center.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
- Roll the tortilla tightly, tucking in the sides as you go.
- Cook the Burritos:
- In a clean skillet, cook each burrito seam side down over medium heat until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Serve:
- Serve the burritos with a drizzle of sour cream and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add jalapeños or bell peppers to the beef mixture.
- You can also add cooked rice or beans to make the burritos more filling.
- If you prefer baked burritos, preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake the assembled burritos for 10-15 minutes until the cheese inside is melted and bubbly.
- Use foil to keep the burritos warm if preparing in batches.
