Description

A refreshing strawberry salsa served with crispy cinnamon chips.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries (hulled and diced)
  • 1 cup diced cucumber
  • 1/4 cup red onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional for sweetness)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced strawberries, cucumber, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, honey, and salt. Mix gently until well combined.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Brush the tortilla triangles with melted butter and sprinkle with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
  4. Arrange the triangles in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  5. Serve the strawberry salsa in a bowl with the cinnamon chips on the side for dipping.
