- 1 pound Ground Beef Patties
- 9 slices Cheddar Cheese
- 3 buns Hamburger Buns
- 6 large leaves Lettuce
- 2 large Tomatoes, sliced
- 1 large Onion, sliced
- 6 slices Pickles
- 2 tablespoons Butter for toasting buns
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients:
- Slice the tomatoes and onions.
- Wash and pat dry the lettuce leaves.
- Cook the Patties:
- Season the ground beef patties with salt and pepper.
- Heat a pan or grill over medium-high heat.
- Cook each patty for about 4 minutes on each side, or until they reach the desired doneness.
- Place three slices of cheddar cheese on each patty in the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Toast the Buns:
- Spread butter on the inside of each bun.
- Toast them in a separate pan over medium heat until golden brown.
- Assemble the Burger:
- Start with the bottom bun, add a lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato, a slice of onion, and two pieces of pickle.
- Place the first cheesy patty on top.
- Repeat with the next bottom bun and another set of toppings.
- Place the second cheesy patty on this layer.
- Repeat the process for the third layer.
- Top with the final bun.
